    Biography

    Trevor Chadwick worked tirelessly on the Kindertransport program, getting several hundred Jewish children to safety in England during the Holocaust

    Trevor Chadwick was one of the British who oversaw the operation of the Kindertransport of Jewish children out of Nazi territory to England before World War II.

    He traveled back and forth between England and Prague in 1939 and helped ship several hundred children from Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia by both airplane and train. He worked with Sir Nicholas Winton, who died recently at the age of 106, and who has been honored since his role in the operation was revealed.
